Privacy policy
Last updated 9 September 2026
Knot.ai is pre-launch. The only personal data we collect is what you type into the waitlist form on this site. This notice explains what that is, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect the details you enter:
- Personal waitlist: your name and email address.
- Enterprise waitlist: your name, work email address, company, and role.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not have accounts or logins yet. We do not collect any special or sensitive categories of personal data.
The “Notes” newsletter box on the home page works differently: it opens your own email client with a message addressed to us. Nothing is submitted to or stored by this website. We only hold what you choose to send us by email.
Why we collect it
We use your details for two purposes only:
- To contact you before we open access, and to tell you when we do.
- To understand who is waiting and what they need, so we know what to build first.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Waitlist submissions are captured and stored by Netlify Forms, the hosting provider for this site, acting on our instructions. That means your details are stored on Netlify's servers, which are located outside India. We access them through the Netlify dashboard. You can read Netlify's privacy policy for how they handle data as our processor.
If you email us directly, that message sits in our email inbox instead.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries until we launch and contact you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If we abandon the waitlist, we will delete it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold;
- correct or complete anything that is wrong;
- erase it;
- withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted the form.
Email aryankumar@knotai.cloud and we will action it. Deleting your data means we can no longer contact you about access, so withdrawing consent also removes you from the waitlist. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. The “Book a call” button opens a booking widget from Cal.com, and our fonts load from Google Fonts; both are third-party services that receive your IP address when they load, and each is governed by its own privacy policy.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update the date at the top of the page.
